My bad

Sorry ya’ll. Shoulda put this up last week but there will be a bit of a break on TGT11. Due to Turkey and Jack Daniels related comas that I will be slipping in and out of over the holidays.
Should have some new lists up by the second week of the new year.

Cheers.

Top eleven – songs I’m diggin right now

So I’m thinking that maybe I’ll try and do one of these posts every couple weeks or at least once a month.

These songs and artists aren’t necessarily new. Just stuff that I think deserves attention and what I’ve been listening to a lot at present. You may hear something new you like, or remember something you haven’t heard in a while.

11. Jace Everett – Bad Things (The theme song for True Blood)

With the successful first season just wrapping up last weekend, I got hooked on the show and hooked on the theme song. If you’ve ever seen the show then you know this song just just perfect for the opening.

Top eleven – most overlooked villains and antagonists

When it comes to the top villains and antagonists in movies, everyone always goes for the cliched popular bad guys: Vadar, Voldemort, Terminator Keyser Soze etc. But what about those unsuspecting and overlooked ones? Some of the most terrible, ruthless and deadly bad asses on the silver screen have been overlooked time and time again. Here’s a list of some REAL villains who don’t get the proper street cred they deserve.

11. EDWARD SCISSORHANDS’ SCISSOR HANDS (EDWARD SCISSOR HANDS…DUHH)

edward-scissorhands

What kind of deranged twisted psycho puts shears and scissors on a persons hands? My guess is the man who did this had some kind of terrible falling out after being fired from First Choice Hair Cutters. One can only imagine the horrors poor Edward has to go through after eating Taco Bell and feeling that all to familiar rumble in his nether regions.

Top eleven – Kids shows and cartoons I watched growing up

This was actually one of the harder lists I’ve had to compile. There were some pretty bad ass cartoons in the 80’s and early 90’s. They just don’t make em’ like they used to anymore.

I decided to exempt a couple shows just because they are on another level of awesomeness. They include: X-men the animated series, Dragonball Z, Batman the Animated series, The Justice League and JLA Unlimited, Superman the Animated series, Spiderman the Animated Series, The Simpsons, Beavis and Butt Head and Ren and Stimpy. The last 3 were scewed to a bit of an older generation anyways.

11. My Pet Monster

I remember I got the “My Pet Monster Plush Toy” complete with plastic handcuffs for Christmas one year and all the kids on the street were so jealous. They would come over all the time and beg me to play with them and ask me if they could borrow my toy. No wait, that’s not entirely accurate. What I really meant to say was that I would sit in my room alone having a private tea party with my other dolls as I cuddled with  it and sobbed uncontrollably.

Top eleven – female celebs I wish would walk into oncoming traffic

11. Dina and Alley Lohan

Like a dirty cling-on stuck to my ass after a taco bell bowl-blaster, these two turds refuse to let go and be flushed away with the rest of the untalented annoying shit in Hollywood. A mother clinging to her youth by vicariously living through her two daughters and a useless little girl who aspires to be like her older, rehab attending, crab infested whore of a sister.
